IDEAL Industries, Inc. FT-45 is a simple, compact and highly effective modular plug crimp tool for installers and techs that terminate RJ-45 connectors regularly. Unlike traditionally oversized tools, this crimp tool is built for long term use. This replacement blade works with IDEAL 30-495 FT-45 Feed-Thru Crimp Tools. Blade is ideally designed for trimming excess conductor length on feed-thru connectors. During trimming, the FT-45 crimp tool blade leaves a smooth, flat finish at the end face of this Feed-Thru connector. Heavy duty blade stays sharp, lasts for over 2,000 cuts, has minimal flex. It is not for use on other IDEAL modular plug tools. For installation, remove screw securing existing blade to tool. Carefully remove blade and spacer. Place new spacer and blade into position on the tool, with the beveled side of the blade facing toward the outside of the tool. Replace and tighten screw. The pack includes a replacement blade, spacer, and screws for quick fitting. INSTRUCTIONS: Remove screw securing existing blade to tool. Carefully remove blade and spacer (which is behind the blade). Place new spacer and blade into position on the tool, with the beveled side of the blade facing toward the outside of the tool. Replace and tighten screw.
